The Brewery Square development encompasses a site of 11.5 acres, formerly the Eldridge Pope Brewery on Weymouth Avenue. Located between Dorchester South Station, the historic Fairfield Market and South Street and the main shopping street in Dorchester, the development offers a major mixed-use scheme, comprising a range of commercial and residential buildings.
This project is Phase 2B and is located in the centre of the development. Works included the development of Brewery Square Gardens, providing 136 apartments across Pope Street, Copper Crescent, Eldridge Street and Hop House, spread over 6 floors with a central courtyard garden for use by residents only.
15 retail units are located to the perimeter of the ground floor level, providing a mix of facilities and local amenities.
Below ground is a 150 space basement car park.
MEP Engineering Solutions Ltd were appointed by the services contractor to undertake detailed design duties.
